This Week's Best Video Game Deals - 12/22/2016

Cheap Xbox One consoles, Green Man Gaming PC sale, Dishonored 2 Limited Edition, Gears of War 4, and more.

A note from the editor: Jelly Deals is a new deals site launched by our parent company, Gamer Network, with a mission to find the best bargains out there. (It also has the best name.) We've invited the Jelly Deals team to share a weekly roundup of (mostly) gaming-related bargains with us, so we can pass their tips on to you. Full disclosure: if you make a purchase from one of these links, we will receive a small commission from the retailer. Hopefully you'll find it useful!

It’s that time of the week again when we gather up all the best gaming and tech deals out there on the web and present them to you in one handy place. The Steam Winter sale may be drawing all of the attention, but be sure you don’t miss some of the other hottest deals out there. Grab a last-minute gift for family or friends, or maybe just treat yourself this Christmas.

The Winter Sale has arrived at Green Man Gaming, and offers massive reductions on a range of game across the store. Remember to add the discount code ‘WINTER10’ to your basket to get an extra 10% off too. Here are some of the top deals we’ve spotted:

Finally seeing a release this year, Owlboy is an indie that has held a lot of us enraptured by its quaint pixel art style. As it’s only just launched, the discount isn’t huge - but you can pick it up for $19.99.

The Dishonored 2 Limited Edition is down to $39.99 at Best Buy, which comes bundled with a copy of Dishonored - Definitive Edition. Handy if you’re new to the series and want to experience the whole story so far, or if you just want to play through the original one more time.

You can keep yourself immersed in the world of Star Wars after Rogue One with the Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition for $29.99 from Target. This version of the game comes with the season pass, which includes the new Scarif map from the latest film.

Frank West returns in the bonkers zombie slaying playground that is Dead Rising 4. Get to work devising the most ridiculous deadly weapon and ploughing your way through the zombie masses for just $39.99.

If you’re still after a console bundle, GameStop is offering a range of Xbox One consoles with $30 GameStop gift cards thrown in for good measure. Bundles start at $249.99 and include games such as Minecraft, Battlefield 1 and Gears of War 4.

Whether you play as a benevolent guide or a malevolent torturer, you might be tempted by The Sims 4 for $19.99 from Target.

If you’re looking for your fill of blood, gore and intense violence at this time of year, and you’ve already watched Die Hard, then the Microsoft Store is offering up Gears of War 4 for $32.99. Through their ‘Play Anywhere’ campaign you’ll receive a copy for both Xbox One and PC.
