One of the best first-person shooters of the last console generation is finally on Steam, which means absolutely none of you have an excuse any more. Titanfall 2 hits Steam today, alongside The Sims 4, Dead Space 3, and a few others.
Electronic Arts' PC catalog has been gradually making its way to Steam since last October, when Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was released on Valve's online storefront. Recently more have been coming over, at first with some notable absences that included Titanfall 2.
Released in 2016, Titanfall 2 is the sequel to Respawn's debut game Titanfall. But rather than keep up with the multiplayer-centric campaign of the first, Titanfall 2 had a full-on single-player campaign, and a damn good one at that. It built up the universe that would be the setting for Respawn's battle royale Apex Legends, and alongside its excellent single-player, the multiplayer was also an absolute blast.
As of this writing, Titanfall 2 is leading the New and Trending chart on Steam. Best part? It's only $9.89 until July 9. There is nary a good reason to not play Titanfall 2. If anything, it's time to get a revival going.
Also hitting Steam today is the ever-popular The Sims 4, the controversial Dead Space 3, and co-op escape artist game A Way Out, whose developer is teasing some news for today's EA Play Live. They're all also on sale to celebrate their arrival on Steam. Now I better see you out there on the frontier, pilots.
