Want the Tony Hawk Remaster Warehouse Demo? You Can Get it With a Burrito

Lights out: burrito radio.

If you're very, very excited about the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster coming out next month, then you've likely already pre-ordered it. If so, you'll be able to play its demo featuring the iconic first level from Pro Skater 1, Warehouse, this Friday. On the other hand, if you're not quite as excited but in need of lunch, you could just get the demo by ordering a pretty run-of-the-mill burrito.

Indeed, if you want to live like Tony Hawk does (minus the fame, frequent existential crises, and excellent skateboarding skills) you can order "the Tony Hawk burrito" from Chipotle this week and get a code for the Warehouse demo. It's first-come, first-serve for the first 2,000 orders of Hawk's burrito through either Chipotle's website or its app.

In fairness to Tony Hawk, his burrito order isn't bad, it's just pretty ordinary: chicken, brown rice, black beans, tomatillo-red chili salsa and guacamole. There are probably thousands of folks out there who, unbeknownst to them, have the same go-to Chipotle order as the first skater to land a 900.

The press release announcing this burrito partnership is, as fast food press releases often are, a pretty amusing read. You don't need to sell the USgamer staff on how good Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is, because we'll sing the praises of skateboarding games without much prompting. Still, you try reading this without chuckling:

"Chipotle burritos are a favorite way to refuel after long skate sessions," said Tony Hawk. "It's a blast to see the enthusiasm for Chipotle, skating and video games continue to grow and inspire a new generation.["]

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 comes out on September 4 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As we recently learned, most of the original soundtrack cuts are returning for the remaster and will be accompanied by a few dozen new additions from bands including Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake.
