Twintelle is So Popular Nintendo Put Her in the Arms Global Testpunch
The star of Arms enters the ring.
I've already fallen in love with the character designs in Arms after just the brief time I spent in the Global Testpunch. But even I know that the design for Twintelle, Arms' in-universe celebrity, is striking (heh) next to the competition. Luckily, players will get to witness her firsthand when Twintelle gets added to the next Test Punch this weekend.

According to some reports, Twintelle wasn't originally planned to be released during the Testpunch, but Nintendo's official Twitter account confirmed that those plans changed once it was clear how popular she was with fans. As a result, Twintelle will indeed be entering the Arms fray, to the delight of her many fans.

The Japanese Twitter account says that Twintelle will be available during the June 3rd and 4th Testpunches, suggesting she won't be available in the exclusive North American Test Punch today (begins 5pm PT/8pm EST).
Following the last Global Test Punch, Nintendo revealed that the two most popular characters chosen by players were Ninjara (a character I didn't even play) and Minmin (yes). I have a feeling that once Twintelle becomes playable, the stats for most popular character might shift a bit in her favor. Additionally Mechanica players had the highest win ratio which is a pleasant surprise.
The second global test punch is slated for this weekend and will include a test run of the hoops minigame. But frankly I'm more interested in keeping up with this unofficial "Most Popular Arms Character" poll, so hopefully Nintendo continues to publish those results.
