USdealhunter: Tomb Raider, Pokemon Y, and VGX Steam Sale

USgamer brings you some of the best deals coming at you this weekend and next week.

Black Friday may be over, but the deal hunting is forever. Every week, USdealhunter will bring you some of the best deals online and offline. Sure, you could look for them yourself, but I'm here to do the work for you. These deals will carry your wallet from today until next Friday, December 13.

Coupons & General Discounts

Gamefly has a 20 percent off coupon for December: GFDDEC20. It'll work on most digital PC games, but not all of them.

Green Man Gaming's 20 percent off coupon code is GMG20-CV2W4-DSYBT, and is good until Monday, December 9.

Green Man Gaming is also offering 30 percent off Season Passes with code GMG30-MW6WA-ZAJIH: Batman Arkham Origins Season Pass, BioShock Infinite Season Pass, Borderlands 2 Season Pass, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Season Pass, and XCOM: Enemy Within are all eligible for the code until Monday, December 9. Why is XCOM: Enemy Within there? Because.

Toys R Us will be offering Buy 1, Get 1 40 Percent Off on all video games and accessories from December 8 to 14.

Best Buy is offering Buy 1, Get 1 50 Percent Off on select Nintendo games: Super Mario 3D World, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Mario Party: Island Tour, Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Sochi 2014. Good from December 8 to 14.

There's two hot deals on this year's reboot of Tomb Raider. If you just want the game by itself, Green Man Gaming has it for $8.00 with the coupon code GMG20-CV2W4-DSYBT. That deal expires today.

Steam has Tomb Raider for $9.99 since it's a VGX nominee, but you can also get the Tomb Raider Collection for only $13.99. That's Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II, Tomb Raider III, Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider V: Chronicles, Tomb Raider VI: The Angel of Darkness, Tomb Raider: Legend, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, and Tomb Raider 2013. That's less than 5 cups of coffee! (Okay, maybe the comparision breaks down at that level.) That deal is good for the next 24 hours.

Other VGX nominees are also a part of the sale, but their discounts are not as deep as Tomb Raider's. You can get NBA 2K14, Gone Home, Kentucky Route Zero, Papers, Please, Divekick, Injustice: Ultimate Edition, F1 2013, Brothers, and Rayman Legends for 50 percent off. Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and Metro: Last Light kick it up a notch at 66 percent off, bringing them to $5.09 and $13.59 respectively.

Gamefly has Bioshock Infinite for $7.99 with coupon code GFDDEC20.

Starting tomorrow, December 7, LEGO Marvel will be $16.79 and Metro: Last Light will be $10.87. Both prices require the use of the GFDDEC20 coupon code and will be good until Sunday.

Amazon has Max Payne 3 Compete Edition for $6.99 from December 5 to 11. Warning: the game requires a Rockstar's Social Club login to function. If Social Club is down, the value of the game drops to zero.

GOG has Trine 2: Complete Story and Trine in a bundle for 85 percent off ($4.48).

Toys R Us is not only selling a Pokemon Y bundle with blue 2DS for $149.99 starting today, they're also offering Pokemon Y for $19.99. The standalone Pokemon Y deal is only good for today and tomorrow, and is only available in store!

Xbox One/PlayStation 4

Amazon is offering a few Xbox One/PS4 games for slightly cheaper than full MSRP:

  • Madden 25 - $48.99 (Both Platforms)
  • Need for Speed: Rivals - $48.99 (Xbox One)
  • Battlefield 4 - $48.99 (PlayStation 4)
  • Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - $48.99 (PlayStation 4)
  • Killzone: Shadow Fall - $48.99 (PlayStation 4)
  • FIFA 14 - $48.99 (PlayStation 4)

No clue how long those prices will last, so go for it!

Reviews Editor

M.H. Williams is new to the journalism game, but he's been a gamer since the NES first graced American shores. Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
