USgamer's RPG Podcast Journeys from Xenogears to Xenoblade Chronicles X

Polygon's Phil Kollar joins Kat to break down Xenoblade Chronicles X on Axe of the Blood God while recounting the franchise's history to this point.

Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey. You can find the show notes for previous episodes here.

In this week's episode of Axe of the Blood God (download link here), Polygon's Phil Kollar joins me to take a stroll through the history of Tetsuya Takahashi's Xeno series, after which we break down Xenoblade Chronicles X. We also talk about the RPGs we've invest the most time in to this point!

Xenoblade Chronicles X came out to today, and with a few exceptions it's pulled down positive reviews. Phil and I talk a bit about what works and what doesn't work, and we delve into the ambition that helps set the series apart. You can find Phil's review here, and our own review should be appearing at some point in the future.
