Streaming Archive: Watch as Kat Tries to Beat Super Mario Bros. 3 in the Course of an Hour

Kat did her best to finish Super Mario Bros. 3 in an hour. Watch the archived stream here!

This week on USgamer we're talking about the best years in gaming history, so I figured I would look back to the past and pick what is probably the best Mario ever made for today's stream: Super Mario Bros. 3.

I enjoy an afternoon spent playing Mario 3, as I'm sure you do. It's been a while since I've finished it though, so that's what I'm going to try and do over the course of an hour. Admittedly, I'm not a speedrunner, but it seems pretty doable with Warp Whistles. I'll even off and play through whatever world viewers request (Sky World? Ice World?) before continuing on to World 8 to get my butt kicked.

Oh, because it's somewhat prettier, I'll be playing the All-Stars version of Mario 3. Feel free to complain about it in the comments!

As always, if you're enjoying the stream, please drop by the channel and subscribe. We stream every Tuesday and Thursday around 2pm PST, and we're happy to talk about whatever you like while we play (within limits, of course). If you have a request for a game you'd like us to play, drop us a line and we'll see what we can do.
