USgamer receives a number of trailers from publishers and developers, but if there's no adjoining editorial or news item, we have no easy way to publish them on the site. So instead of trying to blow out all of these videos into their own article and wasting your time, here's a round-up of all the trailers or interesting videos that have released recently.
Though we won't be playing Persona 5 until February 14, 2017, Atlus has given us the goods today! The Japanese side of the company have released not only the animated opening credits, produced by Production I.G., they've also shown off the first 18 minutes of the game! If you're weak against any kind of spoiler, you shouldn't watch the second video, although it's completely in Japanese.
The wait for this game is going to be a struggle.
Batman: The Telltale Series
Telltale has announced the release date for the first episode of Batman: The Telltale Series, a new adventure game featuring everyone's favorite Dark Knight. Players will be able to pick up Episode 1, Realm of Shadows, on August 2, 2016. One surprising thing about the trailer is an expanded scope; Telltale's titles have always felt like they take place in smaller, discrete areas, but Batman looks to have some scenes where the developer blows it up a bit.
Batman: The Telltale Series is supposed to focus on Bruce Wayne, voiced by Troy Baker, as much as Batman. The trailer makes it readily apparently that you'll be navigating the life of everyone's favorite millionaire playboy as much as his vigilante activities.
Guild Wars 2
The first teaser trailer for Guild Wars 2: Living World Season 3 is here! The jungle dragon, Mordremoth, is dead, though the heroes of Tyria lost one of their own, the Norn ranger Eir Stegalkin. Unfortunately, a new and seemingly human threat is coming from the North.
The first episode of this Season, Out of Shadows, is launching on July 26. Starting tomorrow, the current Guild Wars 2 expansion, Heart of Thorns, will also be 50 percent: $24.99 for the Standard Edition and $37.49 for the Deluxe Edition.
