Blizzard just announced Warcraft 3 remastered titled Warcraft 3: Reforged. Blizzard says Reforged will be out in 2019.
Warcraft 3: Reforged is a remaster of the 2002 strategy game which followed the rise of the Lich King. Blizzard showed a short gameplay video that shows off all the updated visuals and remastered maps coming to Reforged. The update will support 4K resolution as well.
Warcraft 3 introduced many of Warcraft's main storylines including Arthas' path to the Lich King, Sylvannas' current storyline, and Thrall's rise. Warcraft 3: Reforged features a similar suite of tools including level editors, competitive play, and more.
Blizzard also announced the WarCraft 3: Reforged Spoils of War Edition which will unlock special features in many of Blizzard's other games like StarCraft, Diablo 3, World of Warcraft, and more. The Spoils of War also gives players four special skins including a horse mount that makes Sylvannas a playable character in competitive play.
