Warframe's Blade Runner-Esque Fortuna Expansion is Coming to PC in November
The free, new open-world update has a lot of neon.
Warframe's newest open world update, Fortuna, is coming to PC in November for free. The new update introduces a new cyberpunk world on Venus.
Warframe developer Digital Extremes says that Fortuna will be four to five times bigger than the Plains of Eidolon open-world update and is going for a more Blade Runner-esque aesthetic. Lot of neon colors and cyberpunk hallmarks on Venus' metropol and you can see a brief glimpse of it in the Fortuna trailer from this year's Warframe convention.
A new story on Venus will find the players working with the Solaris United faction in their fight against the Corpus overlords. A new K-Drive hoverboard will allow players to traverse Venus in style and a new set of bounties and missions will turn Tenno into a resistance ally.
Fortuna will arrive first on Steam and will come to PS4 and Xbox One in the winter. Warframe is also coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 20.
