Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a great game, at least according to our Vermintide 2 review. It's also a hit: 500,000 copies were sold across four days. The spurt of success prompted Vermintide 2's developer, Fatshark, to share its immediate roadmap for the game.
"While our primary focus for the months to come will be to listen to the community and ensure the best possible experience of Vermintide 2, we also have a general plan set up for the post-release period," states the official Vermintide 2 roadmap page. Here's what you can expect through May.
The remainder of March is a general clean-up period with tweaks, adjustments, and general improvements.
April through May
Now the fun begins. April will see DLC, including free content and updates, including two new levels. Mod support is incoming, and Fatshark hopes to "get it out the door soon." Fatshark is also working on dedicated server functionality, which should help improve stability and matchmaking.
If you have any feedback about Vermintide 2, Fatshark invites you to be its chum by sharing your thoughts on its forums. If you're looking for help with the game, our guide to Warhammer Vermintide 2 Character Classes is a great place to start.
