Watch Nintendo's Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct Here

Let's get Smashin'.

Today (August 8), a Nintendo Direct presentation based around Super Smash Bros Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch is coming your way. Smash is Nintendo's biggest game this year, so you won't want to miss the show. Here's where you can watch it, and when.

Nintendo's Super Smash Bros Ultimate Direct kicks off at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. PT. Hopefully you've already got your coffee in hand, west-coasters. You can catch the show on Nintendo's Twitch channel. You can also watch it on Nintendo's YouTube feed (embedded below).

E3 2018 was pretty much All Smash All the Time for Nintendo, so it'll be interesting to see what other news the Direct will feed us. There are still rumors galore about new fighters (as if Ridley wasn't enough of a surprise last spring), and there's still a good chance series director Masahiro Sakurai will tell us something about Smash Bros Ultimate's single-player campaign—if one exists (single-player options were noticeably absent in Smash Bros Wii U).

Enjoy the show, and don't forget to look at our Super Smash Bros Ultimate guide for everything related to this big release! We keep it up-to-the-minute for the world's deserving Smash fanatics.

Sometimes we include links to online retail stores. If you click on one and make a purchase we may receive a small commission. See our terms & conditions.
