Watch the PlayStation State of Play Showcase for September 24 Here

Featuring The Last of Us Part 2, and possibly a Batman-related reveal.

As Sony announced late last week, there'll be a brand new State of Play presentation later today, on September 24. Buckle up, because we'll be getting a brand new look at The Last of Us Part 2.

The State of Play showcase will kick off in the video below, at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET. It's a pre-recorded presentation, so there's no chance of it kicking off late, and it should run for about 20 minutes, with looks at forthcoming games like The Last of Us Part 2.

While Naughty Dog's sequel is the only game confirmed for the State of Play showcase so far, there are rumors to suggest there will be more to see. Earlier today, a Japanese PSN store listing leaked a MediEvil remake demo, and it's possible that this could be announced for immediate release during Sony's presentation.

Batman: Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Montreal has also been teasing Batman-related news. After the caped crusader's 80th birthday on Sunday, the Montreal developer posted the tweet just below. Could there be a Batman-related announcement during State of Play tonight? We’ll have to wait and see.
