Watch Us Shoot So Many Bad Guys in Our 22 Minutes of Borderlands 3 Gameplay Footage

We tried out Borderlands 3's new guns and powers, and have the footage to prove it.

Today, Gearbox unveiled the first gameplay footage for Borderlands 3. USG was in Los Angeles yesterday for a hands-on demo, and we have 22, glorious minutes of gameplay where we shoot, punch, and dismember any baddie who got between us and some loot, or better yet, a new gun.

In our Borderlands 3 demo, we played as the new Siren Amara. She uses her psychic abilities in a more physical way than her predecessors, summoning four muscular arms to deal big AOE damage. The mission in our footage takes place in one of the new locations in Borderlands 3 that takes place away from the classic setting of Pandora.

Everything else is as you remember it, but bigger. There are several weapons we were able to cycle through, a ton of enemies to shoot at, and plenty of opportunities to test our Siren powers. You can also see some of our loadout choices, and skill tree abilities. There's 22-minutes of footage here, so make yourself comfortable for the ride.

Gearbox's massive Borderlands 3 gameplay unveiling today included big gun reveals, loot, and a look into the massive skill trees for the new Vault Hunters. We got a chance to play Borderlands 3 all day yesterday and came away impressed. Particularly with how the new Borderlands expands its universe by borrowing some of Mass Effect's space opera tropes and mechanics.
