We Will Learn Much More About Persona 5 S and Persona 5: The Royal This Week

Two Persona 5 announcements will be livestreamed later this week.

The next official Persona concert, Super Live P-Sound Street 2019, will be livestreamed on Japanese video platform Nico Nico Douga later this week. This is the same concert where news of Persona 5: The Royal and Persona 5 S will also be revealed.

The Persona concert series will take place in Japan over two days, April 24 to April 25. The two announcements for Persona 5 The Royal and Persona 5 S will be split between the two days, with The Royal news happening on April 24 and Persona 5 R news coming on April 25.

The concert begins at 7pm JST (or 3am PT/6am ET) and it's unclear when in the concert Atlus will be revealing any video game news. You can save the page for the Persona concert on Niconico here. But you should know that the full stream will only be available to members of Premium Niconico, otherwise you'll need to purchase a virtual concert ticket.

The official Persona Twitter account will also stream parts of the concert on April 24 and 25 starting at 7pm JST, so there's a good chance the video game news will just be revealed online. Then there'll be no need to purchase a premium subscription or virtual ticket.

Atlus already announced Persona 5 The Royal briefly in March. While there was only a brief teaser, Persona 5 The Royal looks to be some kind of story add-on to Persona 5, introducing a new character with red hair with some grudge against the Phantom Thieves. There's still no word on what Persona 5 S is, though many are still hoping on a Nintendo Switch port for Persona 5.
