We're in the Final Stretch of the Top 25 RPG Countdown!

AXE OF THE BLOOD GOD | The Top 10 is here!

Axe of the Blood God is our weekly RPG podcast hosted by Kat Bailey and Nadia Oxford. You can find the previous episodes here.

Mass Effect and KOTOR are two of the best RPGs ever made. But when it comes to picking BioWare's magnum opus, there's really only one choice. And it's the RPG that kicks off the final stretch of the Top 25 RPG Countdown [download link here]!

What makes Baldur's Gate 2 special? Its sheer scope mostly. With the Infinity Engine tech firmly in place, BioWare was free to churn out a huge number of quests and storylines, and that was exactly what it did. This was BioWare at its most confident, and it's still evident in how well Baldur's Gate 2 holds up today. Guest Troy Goodfellow and I discuss all this and more as we add Baldur's Gate 2 to the Top 25 RPG Countdown!

Mass Effect and KOTOR are more popular, but Baldur's Gate 2 is BioWare's magnum opus. Guest Troy Goodfellow joins Kat to break down the story, the world, and all the other reasons that this magnificent RPG deserves to be in the Top 10 RPGs of all time. Now available on Spotify!
