Steam Halloween Sale Is Live, Scare Yourself For Cheap

Any game that can be seen as vaguely horrific is on sale.

Valve's annual Steam Halloween sale is live! Like last year, there's a whole host of games that are somewhat horrific and terror-inducing. All of them have shaved a little off the top—don't lose your head—and feature discounts from 15% on up.

Yeah, that means you're seeing good deals on the straight-up horror games, like Dead By Daylight, Friday the 13th, and Resident Evil 7.

There's also some deals on games that are more thrilling and unsettling than outright horrific, like Prey, Darkest Dungeon, Alien Isolation, and the Zero Escape Trilogy.

Finally, there are the games that touch on some horror subject matter, but are more action-packed or outright humorous. This list includes Doom, Dying Light, and A Night in the Woods.

Whatever you get, you better jump on it now, as the Steam Halloween Sale ends on November 1, 2017.

M.H. Williams is new to the journalism game, but he's been a gamer since the NES first graced American shores. Third-person action-adventure games are his personal poison: Uncharted, Infamous, and Assassin's Creed just to name a few. If you see him around a convention, he's not hard to spot: Black guy, glasses, and a tie.
