Will Ghost of Tsushima Have DLC?

If you've saved Tsushima from Mongol invasion, you might want downloadable content to expand and further your gameplay. We'll go over if Ghost of Tsushima will have DLC in the future.

Ghost of Tsushima is a long game, at least thirty hours and more than likely double that if you're a completionist. Even so, those who greatly enjoy it and want more may already be asking themselves, "will Ghost of Tsushima have DLC?" We'll go over everything we know to look at the game's future for downloadable content.

On this page:

Will There Be DLC for Ghost of Tsushima?

As far as we know there are no plans for DLC in Ghost of Tsushima, though this does not mean it couldn't happen at some point in the future, as Sucker Punch have not said otherwise. Bonus content was included for preordering and for purchasing the Special Edition of the game, mainly additional cosmetics that were otherwise unobtainable in-game, though there were no extra missions, Tales or bosses added as part of it.

It is worth noting that Sucker Punch's previous franchise, Infamous, has included a fair amount of DLC, usually focused on telling story elements that weren't previously known. If this pattern continues, we might expect additional plot and quests in the future, though again—no guarantees.

Can You Get the Preorder and Special Edition Bonuses Separately?

No, there is currently no way to get the additional bonuses added to an existing copy of the game without purchasing a whole new Special Edition of the game, and no way to unlock the preorder bonuses. We'll be sure to update this if this changes or if new details emerge, so make sure to check back regularly.
