Now that people are finishing Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, the question has to be asked - will there be DLC expanding on the game? We answer all your questions on expansion for this newest phase of Star Wars lore here.
Is There Any DLC for Fallen Order?
Currently no, the exception being a few pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses added when you actually buy the game, all of which are minor cosmetics and "making-of" material, rather than extra missions or anything that really impacts the gameplay. The full list is as-follows:
- Orange Lightsaber Color (Pre-Order)
- "Bee D-1" BD-1 Skin (Pre-Order)
- "Gold Squadron" Mantis Skin (Pre-Order)
- "Crimson" BD-1 Skin (Deluxe Edition)
- "Crimson" Mantis Skin (Deluxe Edition)
- Digital Art Book (Deluxe Edition)
- "Director's Cut" Behind the Scenes Videos (Deluxe Edition)
At time of writing there is no way to access the pre-order material, though it remains to be seen if that changes at any point in the future. Speaking of future…
Will there be Future DLC for Fallen Order?
Probably not, but there's no guarantees, especially considering how well the game's been selling since release. Back in April, the game's producer, Blair Brown, tweeted that he was "happy to be working on a single player story focused game again, no multiplayer and no MTX for #JediFallenOrder."
This doesn't deny the existence of DLC specifically, but much of Fallen Order's marketing was touting the game's existence as a complete whole, something that could be enjoyed in its entirety without stinging the player for further payments (reiterated by Respawn's co-founder, Vince Zampella). Still, with many people wanting that orange lightsaber, it seems possible that those pre-order bonuses may be sold once again somewhere down the road.
