Witcher Tweet Certainly Makes it Sound Like Geralt Will Be in Soul Calibur 6

The big reveal is tomorrow.

A new tweet from the official Witcher twitter account appears to be teasing Geralt's reveal tomorrow as the guest character in SoulCalibur 6, a rumor that's been circling for quite some time.

The tweet from @witchergame reads, "Kaer Morhen's old stones have witness many battles... Once more they'll sting of sparks as blades collide." If that doesn't sound like one of the dramatic monologues the SoulCalibur narrator recites before the start of a battle, I don't know what to tell you.

Geralt's involvement in SoulCalibur 6 has been rumored for some time, but the clues seem to be pointing in the right direction. Bandai Namco already teased that a guest character will indeed be coming to SoulCalibur 6, so it's not a stretch to imagine that one of the most popular characters in the last five years of gaming will be making an appearance.

The SoulCalibur series also has a long history of introducing guest characters into its series releases. A couple notable guest characters include Link, Spawn, and Heihachi in SoulCalibur 2, Yoda and Darth Vader in SoulCalibur 4, and Ezio Auditore in SoulCalibur 5. Geralt will be joining a good company of characters if he appears in SoulCalibur 6.

The full roster for the upcoming sixth SoulCalibur game is still unknown, though the developers have been announcing old favorites like Ivy, Kilik, and Zasalemel at a pretty regular pace. Hopefully there will be even more character reveals soon before its 2018 release date.
