Wolfenstein 2, Wargroove, and More are Coming to Xbox Game Pass in May

A bunch of great titles are coming to Game Pass in May.

If you're a member of Xbox's video game subscription service, Game Pass, you're about to get a handful of new titles for May. These include some big titles like Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Tacoma, and more.

May's Xbox Game Pass offerings are full of critically-acclaimed darlings. Whether it's MachineGames' Nazi-hunting opus Wolfenstein 2, or Chucklefish's recent strategy throwback Wargroove. There's also Tacoma, the narrative space-adventure from the team behind Gone Home.

Here are the titles coming Xbox Game Pass in May, along with their release dates.

  • Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus – May 2
  • Wargroove – May 2
  • Descenders – May 7
  • Surviving Mars – May 9
  • Tacoma – May 9
  • Black Desert – May 9
  • For the King – May 10
  • The Surge – May 16
  • Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham – May 16

This is honestly one of the strongest line-ups we've seen in a while for Game Pass. We named Wolfenstein 2 one of the best games of 2017. We've also enjoyed games like Wargroove and Tacoma when we reviewed them.

Xbox Game Pass is a subscription service that lets users access a library of games, like Netflix. Game Pass has quickly become a major part of the Xbox One ecosystem, and Microsoft recently unveiled an All-Digital Xbox One S to further take advantage of the service. Xbox head Phil Spencer even hopes to bring Game Pass to any applicable device, even those that aren't made by Microsoft.

You can see the full list of Xbox Game Pass titles available on the service here.
