WoW Will Let Players Revisit The Past In World of Warcraft: Classic

The Vanilla server players wanted is here.

Everyone knew something related to World of Warcraft was coming and Blizzard Entertainment delivered. World of Warcraft executive producer J. Allen Brack took to the stage to announce the vanilla server some fans have been clamoring for. Welcome to World of Warcraft: Classic.

The project isn't coming this year, or anytime soon really. Brack also mentioned that Blizzard is trying to recapture the feeling of vanilla WoW, not to actually take the game back to those original mechanics.

"This is a larger endeavor than you might imagine, but we are committed to making an authentic, Blizzard-quality Classic experience. We want to produce the game experience that we all enjoyed from the original Classic WoW, not the actual launch experience," said Brack. "So please bear with us, it's going to take some time."
