Xbox Game Pass October Additions Include Neat Wild West Game to Get You in the Mood for Red Dead 2

Headline titles for the October lineup are Forza Horizon 4, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and LEGO Indiana Jones.

While October on Xbox Game Pass is undoubtedly headlined by the incredible-looking Forza Horizon 4, the rest of the lineup isn't too shabby either. It even includes an excellent retro-inspired Wild West RPG.

If you're longing for some Red Dead Redemption 2 action, perhaps Westerado: Double Barreled will scratch that itch. Although the retro visuals suggest a rather simple RPG, and the shooting is rather basic, there's more depth here than there first appears. Follow the clues and shape your own story, all while counting down the days to October 26.

You can see how great Playground Games' racer is in our Forza Horizon 4 review, but the rest of the lineup is also pretty great, if a but unspectacular. Split/Second is worth a special shoutout, not only for being great but also for being one of the last arcade racers of its type (take a moment to remember Blur, too).
