Xbox X019 Could be Where All of Microsoft's Shiny New Studios Start to Bear Fruit
It looks like the many, many studios of Xbox will have some news to share.
Microsoft and Xbox Game Studios are hosting a reveal event tomorrow in London, dubbed X019. Right now, it sounds like both Obsidian and Rare are set to show off new properties, alongside updates from other studios under the Xbox umbrella.
Industry insider and analyst Daniel Ahmad tweeted today that X019 will have "solid 2020 release dates" for upcoming Xbox Game Studios games like Bleeding Edge, Minecraft Dungeons, and Wasteland 3. Obsidian and Rare will debut new IP and more.
X019 is worth watching tomorrow if you're a fan of Xbox Game Studios.

Ahmad also mentions a "shadow drop," which he later clarified to be Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, set to launch tomorrow.
This is good news for Xbox fans, as well as anyone who's been using the Xbox Games Pass. There will likely be more news about the pass, as it's become a pretty effective method of driving sales across the board for Xbox.
Some release dates will also give us an idea of what Microsoft's last year on the Xbox One looks like. While Bleeding Edge didn't leave a good first impression with me at E3 2019, I'm interested to hear more about Wasteland 3 and what a few other Xbox studios are working on.
The next generation of Xbox, Project Scarlett, is set to debut holiday 2020 alongside Halo Infinite. It'd be nice if Scarlett got a full name tomorrow, but we'll just have to wait and see.
