Yakuza 6's Demo Is Out, and It's Huge like Godzilla

Yakuza 6's Demo Is Out, and It's Huge like Godzilla

Length-wise, The Song of Life has November Rain beat hollow.

The English release for Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is delayed into April, but don't take it too hard: A demo of the game is available on the PlayStation Store, and at 36 gigs, it's a monster.

The demo covers the game's extensive prologue. It sucks when you toil through a demo only to lose your progress when you start the game for real (how you doin' Dragon Quest Builders), but Yakuza 6's demo save data thankfully transfers over to the real McCoy.

"Hey kids! Download my demo while your parents are trying to stream Game of Thrones! They'll love you for it!"

The disappointing news about Yakuza 6's delay hasn't done much to dampen excitement for the game. Sega's going all-out with its localization, and a Yakuza-themed art show is debuting in Alhambra, California on March 17.

The full version of Yakuza 6 comes to PlayStation 4 on April 17. For help with the game, check out our Yakuza 6 guide.
