Since the launch of Destiny 2's Curse of Osiris expansion, players have begun digging into all the new armor and weapons that have been added to the game's arsenal. One gun in particular has been absolutely demolishing PvP however. It's called the Prometheus Lens, and Bungie has confirmed that it is bugged.
The Prometheus Lens is a brand new exotic weapon that has quickly become Destiny 2's most powerful weapon. The trace rifle can down an opponent players in seconds after firing its continuous laser at someone.
Here's a video of the weapon in action.
In a tweet from Bungie's community manager, DeeJ announced that yes, the Prometheus Lens is bugged and that it will b addressed in this week's community blog.
Prometheus Lens shipped with a bug. We’ll address the issue and talk solutions in ‘This Week At Bungie’ on the blog.— DeeJ (@DeeJ_BNG) December 6, 2017
The solutions will probably include a nerf of some sorts considering it can melt almost any player in two seconds.
