Nintendo just announced the release dates for two of its "handcrafted" games, and they're both coming out in March. Yoshi's Crafted World is coming to the Nintendo Switch on March 29, while Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will be available on the 3DS on March 8.
Yoshi's Crafted World is a brand-new sequel to 2015's Yoshi's Woolly World on the Nintendo Wii U. As the first Yoshi game on the Nintendo Switch, Yoshi's Crafted World is bound to once again melts hearts with an adventure starring Yarn Yoshi. In it, you'll explore various craft worlds as Yoshi or play with a friend in two-player co-op.
Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is an enhanced version of 2010's Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Nintendo Wii. New features include the Ravel Abilities power ups which give Kirby new moves like wielding a wire sword or turning into a giant yarn ball. There will also be new mini-games featuring King Dedede and Meta Knight, as well as some new furniture to decorate Kirby's home. Lastly, Nintendo is adding a "Devilish" mode for extra difficulty.
March is now unofficially Nintendo's arts-and-crafts month apparently. We'll be breaking out our sewing kits and crochet needles to prepare for the arrival of Yoshi and Kirby on the two different Nintendo consoles.
