Yoshi Switch Delayed to 2019 After Disappointing E3 No-Show

Nintendo has officially delayed Yoshi Switch, meaning you won't be able to get your hands on it this year.

Yoshi Switch was revealed by Nintendo back at E3 2017, and it was a bit puzzling when E3 2018 came and went without a new look at the game. Now it all makes sense, as Nintendo has announced a delay for Yoshi Switch.

While Yoshi Switch was originally set to launch at some point this year in 2018, Nintendo has now delayed the game to 2019. We know relatively little about the game, and the only time we've seen Yoshi Switch in action was when it debuted back at E3 2017, in the gameplay trailer just below.

Speaking to Polygon at E3 2018, Reggie Fils-Aime said that Yoshi Switch "continues to be in development making great progress".

Although Nintendo didn't unveil Yoshi Switch in full during its E3 2018 presentation, they did have a load of other games for the next year to talk about, including the highly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Head over to our Nintendo E3 2018 recap page for a complete guide to every announcement and look at our Yoshi Switch page for more info on the game.
