You Wanted Puddles, Spider-Man PS4 Just Gave You All the Puddles

A wash.

Do you remember "puddle-gate?" Just before Insomniac's Spider-Man came out on PS4 some users wondered whether the absence of puddles in a recent trailer meant that Spider-Man received a graphical downgrade since E3 which showed more puddles. It was silly, but Insomniac addressed this controversy in its newest update.

No, Insomniac didn't add more puddles not exactly. Instead the 1.07 and 1.08 update which added New Game Plus and the Ultimate Difficulty setting also added some new stickers and filters to the game's extensive photo mode, one of which is this puddle sticker.

Insomniac UI artist Gil Doron lampshaded the new stickers in a tweet today telling followers, "I fixed this for you," and showing off a screenshot from the game where the cartoonish puddle stickers were placed all around the original site of the controversy.

There are two different style of puddles, but you can customize their size and rotate them to make them seem as different as possible. So, if you're ever at a loss for puddles or hoping to find more anywhere in Spider-Man's New York City, well Insomniac has your back.
