Zelda Breath of the Wild Player Flies Across Hyrule Via the Power of Magnets
Look man, Zelda players are weird these days. Just go with it.
We've seen one player float across most of the map in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, using their paraglider, stamina elixirs, and a copious amount of Bomb Arrows. The passionate are always innovating though. Mety333 on YouTube has figured out a way to fly across the entire map.
In the video, you can see Mety stack a metal box on top of a minecart and then lifting the minecart with the Magnesis rune. This method was discovered by another YouTube channel, MrCheeze, a few days ago. By lifting the minecart up to the invisible ceiling of the world, Mety is able to jump off at the top and paraglide around the whole of Hyrule. You'll still need stamina elixirs for this, as Link's arms get real tired.
All of this is a result of Breath of the Wild's systemic open-world, allowing players to mess with the game's physics and chemistry to come up with unique solutions to certain problems.
