Zone of the Enders 2 4K Remaster Releases in September

It still has the bizarre upside down A in its subtitle, plus VR support.

Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner - M∀rs has been given a firm release date of September 6. The remaster will be available on PC via Steam and on PS4.

Other than the release date, which we've already detailed in more than enough detail in the paragraph above, there's not much else to say about the ZoE 2 remaster. It'll be playable in 4K on PS4 Pro and PC, and you'll be able to play in VR should you have the required headset. If you can partake in the VR, you'll also get to view models and check out a Jehuty hanger.

The trailer above shows ZoE 2 M∀rs running in 4K. If you played the original PS2 game and found it rather tricky, a new mode that makes things extra easy might be of interest.

Konami released Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner on PS2 back in 2003, with the game being ported to PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. ZoE 2 received largely positive reviews, earning a Metacritic score of 82.
