Just a guy. Or a dude. Or a man ... I don't consider myself a man.

I'm really happy for Igarashi. Castlevania is my favorite series, and I'm a big fan of his work. Seeing Inafune make totally-not-Megaman makes we want to IGA, Ayami Kojima and Michiru Yamane make totally-not-Castlevania. Although I'd crownfund the hell out of anything if the those three people were on board.

Best of luck to him.Edited 2 times. Last edited March 2014 by Unknown

@jeremy.parish Right? It was super clever. Like, I'd be in the shower thinking about a part I was stuck on and go "ahh! Of course I course I can use the goat to eat the crumpled paper!" Name another game that does that.

Totally forgot about this game, even though I love the first one and had a good time with the other two. Makes me a bit sad honestly, 'cause I found the figure-it-out-yourself-you-jerk approach Sticker Star took to be really awesome. And the situation's made even worse by the fact that so many people mistook the freedom in SS as obtuse game design, which earned it a lot of hate.

Woah, didn't expect the game to come with biting commentary on the state of JRPGs built into the gameplay. Atlus has been pleasantly surprising me with this sort of thing since I was introduced to them, and I couldn't be happier.

    Certainly getting this one.

Never played a proper MegaTen entry, though I've had fun with Persons and the Devil Survivor games, and Pokemon as well of course. It seems neat though, so I can`t wait for the reviews.

@mishtabrown65 And what makes you think she fancies herself a "gaming fan" rather than actually being one? She played the game to completion, analysed it, and gave an honest opinion. How does that in any way devalue her "gaming cred"?

Not even gonna comment on the twat part. But good god, don't take things so personally. It makes life a lot easier.

This guy's adorable. How are the other Chibi Robo games? Worth tracking down?

@mishtabrown65 You hit the nail on the head: Project X Zone is a game that doesn't try. Couldn't have put it better myself.

But in all seriousness, fun is a such a subjective thing. The reviewer didn't find doing/watching literally the same things for dozens of hours fun, and most people seem to agree. No need to get so angry about it, you're free to read the many other reviews that gave it a good score all the same.

@mishtabrown65 Doesn't know what she's talking about? She's clearly played the game and gave logical reasons for why it's no good, what's the issue? In fact, It's one of the most valid reviews I've read for this game; I literally couldn't even play the demos all the way though.

And you can like it for the characters and the spectacle, absolutely. But to be so defensive about a game that's nearly devoid of strategy and involves mashing the A button endlessly seems wrongheaded to me. You can admit it's not well designed but like it anyway. Nothing wrong with that.
