They're not books. They're just print outs.

I wouldn't go as far to say that Mad Max was one of the best games I've played, but it was underrated at the time. As a massive fan of the films, I really enjoyed all the references in the game and the ruined airport where the buzzards lurked in the shadows was a really memorable and atmospheric location. It definitely did justice to the world of the film series, while telling its own story.

As a fan of the new Deus Ex games I'm not sure about this. I would prefer it if they weren't just straight up Avengers games. I'd like to see Crystal Dyamics do an action/adventure Guardians of the Galaxy game and Eidos Montreal do a stealth/action Ant Man game, where they could use the Ant Man abilities in the stealth and level traversal mechanics.

Sadly the lack of games at launch made me decide not to pre-order. I didn't mind the price (although the controllers are a bit steep), but it seems bizarre to me that Nintendo didn't wait at least a couple of months longer so that there'd be a stronger launch lineup. If Nintendo had launched the Switch in May with say Zelda, Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon 2 as launch titles I think the reaction would have been quite different. I will probably buy a Switch eventually, but given how many other games are coming out early this year I think I'll wait and see.

@pjedavison It looked like it had the scope and depth that many AAA games, especially RPGs, have. Previously I've had the preconception that idnie games lacked that kind of depth and scope.

You know I was one of the 'I don't like Indie games' people before Sony's Gamescom conference. But what they showed changed my mind - in particular Rime as it looked like something I would be interested in and in the end that's what is going to be key to attract my interest. Perhaps there have been indie games in the past that would have also appealed to me but I didn't see them. This in turn lead me to have the perception that indie games were almost exclusively either arty games that I wouldn't be interested in or games that were predomenantly 2D platformers that just played on the nostalgia of people who grew up with those kind of games. Now I think things are changing for me.
