Most hours would be in an RPG, or a childhood Intellivision or NES game. But for most revisited, it’s Ghosts n’ Goblins.

I have played the cabinet in arcades, bars, and bodegas since the 80s, and owned different home ports at nearly every stage of my life.

I was instantly hooked by the pulpy horror art style, bright and vibrant colors, and the fun tiney musical score. The preview screen was a brilliant way of adding narrative depth in just a few seconds, and that motif to me was a delightful mash-up of a haunted house organ and a boxing ring bell. The arcade version is my favorite, but I have my most hours on various NES ports.

I was massively into TRON as a kid. I loved the movie, the two arcade games, and probably played Tron: Deadly Discs for hundreds of hours on Intellivision. I also had most of the toys and the soundtrack on vinal.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Castlevania series on Netflix.Edited 3 weeks ago by Unknown

I got Ever Oasis last week, but my wife also got a puppy, so I haven’t been able to play it yet. So far I’ve only been able to sneak in a little Pokémon Ultra Moon and Animal Crossing: New Leaf during her naps.

Adventures of Link and Simon’s Quest are two of my favorite games of all time. Rather than feeling frustrated by the lack of transparency, we were excited by the ambition. I reminisce more often about these sequels than I do their more well regarded debuts.

I just picked up SSB on the 3DS when it was discounted on My Nintendo but I haven’t played a lot yet. I’ve been trying some popular Nintendo series this year that I don’t have experience with, but I haven’t quite figured out yet how to enjoy SSB and Mario Kart.

My favorite characters on the NES growing up were third party: Capcom, Technos Japan, and Konami. Of those, I’d love Firebrand, Kunio Kun, and Oolong. For Nintendo characters, I want Toad.

I would love if Microsoft and/or Sony produce a device that could be played in a handheld mode.

I probably would have gone with Cortana-Master Chief as well.

If gameplay is considered, I’d definitely pick Robin/Tharja:Corrin/Rhajat. The Rhajat iteration softened some of the more problematic aspects of Tharja, and I’ve always found chaotic good characters far more relatable than lawful good ones. S support bonuses and the Sorcerer/Witch classes make Tharja/Rhajat extremely OP, which is fine by me when I’m making a 200 hour narrative run.

Does Twin Galaxies have a formal process to adjudicate these kinds of claims? You assume there would have been an internal review giving Mitchell a right to respond before going public with the accusations.Edited February 2018 by Unknown

The Mario of the 80s will always be my favorite. He was a working class immigrant version of the John Carter/Flash Gordon trope and was believeable as the type of guy who would be working as a factotum and moonlighting as a boxing ref. Add in the strong drug subtext, and Mario had a deeply interesting subversiveness before the 90s reboot.

@Godots17thCup You’re the first person I’ve seen who has said something positive about Happy Home Designer. All I needed was one. It’s now on my buy list :)
