I did play through Shenmue one summer, and got onto the boat exactly on Christmas even though I had an idea of what was the actual time limit. I really wanted to get through the forklift job ASAP to buy the ticket, as I found the tasks as frustrating as that one mission on the army base in San Andreas. I did not maximize his fighting techniques and I ended up beating that Gollum using an arcade stick. The mundanity and fighting were fun in their own right but were they in such extreme quantities, it was jarring. Glad that some of the developers learned to smooth it out for Yakuza.

Of course, the Rock starred in yet another good movie. It's like hoping Spielberg to make really awful movies, he doesn't.Edited 2 days ago by Unknown

@Roto13 I definitely had a problem moving and driving around in Shenmue. But the fighting controls were pretty easy to understand, only confounded by the freaking Dreamcast D-Pad.

All the other viewers gave great choices because it's been so long since I've actually finished RPGs in quick succession that I forget which Legendary Weapons I really like, and if I try to recall one I confuse it with something from Kamen Rider.

So... I would say the Bamboo Broom that I got from one of Persona 4 Golden's many complicated quests. I wasted over $150, lost a mop, and all I got was a very strong broom that I promptly used to smack shadows in the head. Considering the fact that the MC's sword never matters in this series, I took it with me all the way to the last battle.

Edit: After a good night's sleep, some memories were rattled out and I remember I enjoyed using the Twin Lance in Final Fantasy V. I spent a bit of time on the SNES and GBA version when I was in high school and college. It was something that can be bought in the Phantom Village or dropped by various bosses throughout the game. Considering I grinded so much that my party became overpowered by the end of the game, this "boomerang" made me drool when I tested it out, at first hitting the opponent twice. Then I read in a guide that I can use the Hunter's "Rapid Fire" Ability to quadruple the fun, meaning I can hit eight times. Shinryu, Omega, they all fell rather quickly, and of course Exdeath barely got out a few hits. The only downside of this was that I couldn't tell anyone, because nobody played this game.

I have not used the Masamune code that came with FFXV, and I don't think I ever will.Edited 2 times. Last edited 2 days ago by Unknown

I'm not as enthusiastic about this compared to Nintendo's mini systems compared to the fact that Sega gave us nearly three decades of the Sega Genesis in one way or another. The three models of the original console? Easily available and I kept buying and repairing them one by one. And then game the AtGames which were ALWAYS disappointing, fitting of Sega of America's rep.

I agree with LBD, give us a SMS or GG or SG-1000 mini. Hell, start preparing the Sega Saturn and Dreamcast games for the PS4 already! We want Jet Set Radio Future!

How I wish Sega would hire a Western company/director/crew to work on a version of Persona.

@MetManMas I'm definitely for a remaster of RDR, considering the original game was a hot mess of code that worked! But it probably won't happen considering the state of the gaming industry as it stands today.
